On Friday, June 12th, Emporia Lodge, along with our Grand Master M∴W∴ Dave Hendricks, recognized three worthy Brothers who’ve served the Craft for 25 years, recognized our widows, Kansas Masonic All-State Marching Band recipients, scholarship winners and more! Miriam Chapter No. 14, OES, joined as well and thank you Sisters for your help last night!

Roughly 140 guests attended.

We also were honored to present the Emporia Community Foundation a $10,000 check in our continued support of their match day program!

What a great day in Kansas Masonry!

Welcome AJ Pence to our staff! AJ is a former band director in the Topeka area and was a student teacher during Danny’s senior year of high school in 2014. (you're old!! 🤪)

AJ is also an active Mason and a member of the Kaw Valley Scottish Rite, where he works. This year, he received the Grand Master of Kansas Masons A.F. & A.M. highest award: Order of Merit. AJ married his wife Rachel in 2022.

St. John’s Lodge No. 1 in Rhode Island is the sixth oldest lodge in America.

Visiting Rhode Island and found St. Paul’s Lodge No. 14, F&AM. The brothers are getting a new roof. I found the lodge to be situated due East and West and also located next to Four Corners Cemetery.
