Got to visit two new places in Kansas to talk about ! Hays High School and Russell High School. Excited to get more students from all across Kansas as our next generation of teachers we have been waiting for!

Oh this was a fun group chat!!! Students at Garden City HS had lots of great questions and several signed up for before I even left! The district has even agreed to pay for these future teachers.

Thanks to Mrs. Hamlin DeLoach and Mrs. for helping to set this up for their students. Excited to work with these amazing educators to grow the teaching profession.

Starting this week off by visiting in Southwest Kansas. is helping to pilot the Youth Apprenticeship through KSDE. Giving students an opportunity to make money while completing high school classes.

Hoping to get our first ever Liberal students at this summer!

What an amazing day at the Kansas CTE Conference. We got the opportunity to share what is all about with 500 Kansas Educators. They all rocked it with the Gator, POWER, and sharing their stories of being in a CTE Pathway and KFTA.

Massive thanks to the service areas donating $1,000 to help support KFTA and students to attend! Getting excited for another great summer.

Will you be like Nevaeh, Ava, or Haylee??? One has applied for advanced…one said I’ll do it right now and still nothing 👀 and the other didn’t commit.

Applications close March 1st and you’ll be sorry if you miss this summer!

Either way this was a fun group and great to see these smiling faces!

Excited to be headed to Southwest Plains Regional Service Center in a few weeks to talk with future educators! If you are in SW Kansas be sure to get signed up for this awesome event!

In the fall, WKCS saw just over 1,000 students come through our 8 showcases! We are excited for our remaining showcases this year and hope to reach over 1,500 students by the end.
