On Saturday, April 18th our NWTF Chaper sponsored a youth Hunter Education course in Emporia. There were 9 youth participants and they all passed the course. They all had a blast and took home several prizes too. One youth was even drawn to go on a guided turkey hunt this spring that was generously donated by one of our Chapter members. Thanks to all the instructors and volunteers who helped to make this effort a success. Also, we owe a special thanks to the landowners who allowed us to utilize their property and facilities to host the course. Our Chapter plans to continue sponsoring a local Hunter Education course annually moving forward. Information about future courses will be posted to our page when it becomes available.
