FUMC School Supply Project

Here are pictures of some of our fantastic volunteers that helped with school supplies this year. We can't do it without them!

While we are still waiting on some of the school supplies to arrive (I know! Yikes!!) we want to get sorting and assembling those supplies we have.

So, tomorrow Thursday 8/13 we will have two work sessions. Morning session will be 10 am to noon. The evening session will be 6 pm to 8 pm. Come for as much time as you are able.

Please come in the west doors of the church (823 Merchant) and go down the stairs to the basement. At the bottom of the stairs you will turn right and go all the way to the end of the hall and then turn left.

We would appreciate your help if you are able. We have had/are having some vendor issues and we are all a little freaked out how little time is left for us to get this done.

Once the rest of the supplies arrive we will post more work days and times.

We been quiet on the page lately trying to get our supplies ordered and getting ready for the big push. Unfortunately one of our suppliers has changed the ordering routine and it is taking a little longer than expected to get our supplies.

We will have a work day this coming Wednesday the 29th to get the supplies we do have organized and ready for the distribution. We will be in the basement of the church (south end) from 6 pm to 8 pm. Come join us if you can.

Then, save the dates: August 14th, 15th and 16th we will be doing the final sorting and assembly by building. Times will be determined closer to the dates. This is later than what we expected, but we know with all the support of our community we can get it done and to the schools in time.

See you then!
