Wow!! We are so thrilled and appreciative of all the donors who selected FUMC School Supply Project on Match Day! We received $24,102.16 for getting Emporia students the supplies they need for the coming school year. Thank you so much!!

Match Day as a whole raised over $829,000. Congratulations to all the participants.

School Supply Fact Number 7: By the time a child is 10, they will have worn down approximately 730 crayons and will spend an average of 28 minutes per day coloring.

School Supply Fact Number 5: The amount a K-5 parent spends on school supplies is between $50 and $100. Parents of Middle and high school students tend to spend between $150 and $200.

School Supply Fact Number 6: FUMC School Supply Project provides school supplies for roughly 4300 students spread across grades K - 12.

80% of US teachers spend their own money on school supplies for their students. On average those teachers will spend over $500 of their own money to furnish their classrooms with necessary school supplies.
