Today, Rains FFA had the privilege of welcoming Texas FFA State Officers to our campus!

Our students had the opportunity to hear from these incredible young leaders as they shared words of wisdom, encouragement, and the importance of staying true to who you are.

We are so thankful they took the time to visit with our members, share their experiences, and remind them of the opportunities and impact that come with being part of something bigger than themselves.

Thank you for investing in our members! We wish you safe travels and continued success as you make your way through Area VI! 💙💛

2nd grade was wrapping up their unit on Fairy Tales and Tall Tales. To celebrate, they had flapjacks, wore their flannels for Paul Bunyan and practiced their lasso skills like Pecos Bill. Our FFA Officers did an amazing job of showing the 2nd graders how to use a rope and practice their skills on Ansen’s sawhorse roping dummy. Then the officers were able to enjoy some flapjacks with Mrs. Hiser’s class.

🎉 First FFA Jacket of the Year! 🎉

On the first Monday of our second week of school, we gave our 8th grade Principles of Ag students a challenge: learn the FFA Creed and be ready to recite it from memory.

The very next day, Marlee walked into class and said, “I’m ready.” 👏🏼💙💛

And she absolutely nailed it!

For being the first student to step up and take on the challenge, Marlee earned her FFA jacket FREE! 🎉

We are so proud of her for accepting the challenge, putting in the work, and having the confidence to step up. We love seeing our students challenge themselves and get involved from the very beginning!

Way to set the bar, Marlee! Welcome to our FFA family! We can’t wait to see where your FFA journey takes you! 💙💛

Here she is with some of our chapter officers!
