Emmitsburg Lions Club History

We were chartered November 16, 1982 and sponsored by the Terra Rubra Lions Club.

The Lions are a community organization focused on helping with vision impairment services (eye screening, repurposing old eye glasses, assistance w/vision expenses) and providing local community support and activities. The Emmitsburg Lions Club meets at 6:30 pm on the second and fourth Thursday of every month at the Carriage House Inn, 200 South Seton Avenue in historic Emmitsburg. We currently h

ave 5 members (charter members) who have been members of the Emmitsburg Lions since that date:

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the Lions!! Thank you for attending our Children's Christmas Party!! It was soo much fun and the Kid had a great time and got to see Santa and Mrs Claus, do many crafts, sing and play music, eat hot dogs and have fresh baked cookies and Hot Chocolate! Thanks toall the volunteers!
