We had a great ride today at Celebration Park with the Squaw Butte Chapter. Seven members from our chapter and one from the Boise chapter. 6 miles in 2.6 hours. Windy and a little cold, but a great ride! Hope you all can meet us March 8th at Succer Creek for another exciting ride!

On Jan 25th, Dan and Marja Waugh, Charles and Lorraine Chick, Phil Ryan, and Bart Baer partnered with Treasure Valley Community College. Wade Black runs the equine program and Squaw Butte stepped up and gave a great packing clinic to 17 students.

The results were overwhelmingly positive with many questions including how to get involved to learn more and take an active role in conservation.

This was the first, and we hope this partnership grows to benifit both students, B*HI, and Idahos trails. We hope this program can ignite the ember that we hope creates a passion for conservation and a love of riding in our wild lands in these young adults.

Expect to see more of this as this program grows.
