The final day of the Toys For Tots toy drive. We had over nine hundred bags given out. Job well done by my fellow Marines and the other volunteers. Merry Christmas everyone.

We had our monthly meeting last night where we inducted in our newest member Danny Merrit. We also chose our Marine of the year Milton Solares and our Associate Marine of the year, Joe Dunton. Congratulations to all of them.

At our monthly meeting last night, Shawn Patton, our special guest speaker, presented on various financial topics, including estate planning and the preparation of wills and other necessary documents. He also spoke about his involvement with several groups, including the Youth Physical Fitness Program, which requires volunteers, and the Manito Life Center, which offers assistance to veterans with physical and mental issues. Additionally, we conducted the drawing for our Holiday Raffle, and the winning name is featured in the accompanying picture.

Our detachment was the honor guard at our 250th Anniversary Celebration held at the memorial in Cedar Beach park today.

We had our Detachment’s 250th Anniversary celebration dinner last night at the Mercantile Club in Emmaus. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food and the gathering of families and friends.
