The Emma Civic Club has been dedicated to raising funds for an exciting initiative in the City of Emma, and we’re thrilled to share the progress we’ve made! Every December, we host a Chili/Soup Supper and Auction, and this is our second spring hosting the Fish Fry. With the growth of our town and more families calling Emma home, we’ve dreamed up a huge improvement for the Emma City Park and thanks to the generosity of people like YOU, we are well on our way!
We’ve raised nearly $20,000 so far, and we’re thrilled to announce that the playground equipment has been secured and purchased! We’ve chosen the Santa Monica playscape, a versatile and ADA-compliant playset that will bring hours of fun and creativity to children of all ages and abilities. With slides, climbers, drums, and so much more, this playset will be an amazing addition to the park and provide a safe, engaging space for our kids to enjoy.
But we’re not quite finished yet! To bring this dream to life, we still need to raise $25,000 for installation and rubber flooring. We can’t wait to hit our goal and see kids running, playing, and laughing on this amazing new equipment! This will be an incredible addition to Emma that will last for generations to come!
