PLEASE SHARE WITH EVERYONE, YOU KNOW!!!

We understand that many people are not able to make monetary contributions to our local Eminence Food Harvest Pantry. However, you can help in a much bigger way! We are signed up with the Best Choice Save-A-Label Program!!!
All you have to do is cut off the barcodes off of best choice products before you throw it away and donate it to our Pantry. I will be putting a box at our church, the first Assembly of God across from Brawley‘s market. The box will be in the upper parking lot by the door where we do our Pantry distribution where they can be delivered anytime day or night. What happens is for every so many labels we get we get a monetary donation from the save a label program to our pantry. It doesn’t get much easier than this folks. Please help us to continue helping our community with this program. God bless you and thank you for your participation❤️

Since we did our Pantry Distribution last Friday due to the truck needing to deliver early…… WE DO NOT have distribution tomorrow morning. Please share with as many as possible!!! Stay home stay warm!

Tuesday, November 25 is our next food distribution at the church for the Eminence Food Harvest Pantry

Eminence Assembly of God is having a fundraiser to raise money for the Food Pantry! We will have a photographer coming on November 22 to take family portraits. I have been assured they will be ready for Christmas gifts. I will have a few ladies from church that will be signing people up to reserve a spot in the scheduling. You will pay $10 and will receive a 10x13 for having your pic taken. Additional pics will be available for purchase. Only one coupon can be purchased per family. If parents are only interested in having just their children photographed they are going to work with me and allow that but a parent or guardian must at be present at the time photos are taken. If you are interested in purchasing a coupon please text me at 417-247-2453. I’ll try and answer any questions you have. As soon as our packet arrives from the company I’ll have my gals calling people!

Any and all monetary donations towards the food pantry will be accepted gladly!! (we didnt get our grant this year! 😭)

Even though volunteering at the food pantry is hard work We always manage to have some fun with it. This year, a couple of us dressed up. John was a prisoner, and I was a thuglett. We walked thru town with him attached to me with rubber handcuffs waving at passing cars, thru all the offices at the courthouse (because I was looking for the $10,000 reward for catching him) and we went down to the sheriff‘s department. He was not very impressed with us. He said that we were gonna cause him to get a lot of phone calls yesterday.😂 one of the deputies gave me an I owe you for the reward and forgot to sign it so when I ask him to sign it, he scribbled. One of the ladies upstairs in the courthouse told me that the check was in the mail for the reward, but I know better because she didn’t even ask for my mailing address🙃 never hurts to have a little bit of fun to brighten someone’s day. Thank you for being such a good sport John Wick 🥰
