Thank you to the volunteers who helped at the PA Herb and Garden show at the York Fairgrounds. This two day event calls for help running the booth, taking tickets at the door, and plant sitting for shoppers. We can’t wait to use the funds to help local youth attend summer enrichment camps. It was a fun two days!

If you haven’t heard of the ACE Mentor Program of Central PA, please check it out. They offer a free after school program for all students in York County who have a desire to learn about a career in architecture, construction and engineering. The culmination of the program is a formal presentation of an assigned project where they design the entire concept including site and building plans plus components such as electric and plumbing, a timeline for completion, and cost estimate. Dedicated local professionals mentor the students providing assistance along the way. Thank you to Kevin Hubbell who runs the program. Congratulations to all of the participants. They did an awesome job. And special recognition to our very own Junior Community Outreach Advisor, Maxine! Way to go everyone!
