Austin Allison knows the value of speaking up. The senior surgical technologist and former Eureka City Council member helped his coworkers at Providence St. Joseph Hospital challenge the removal of their job classification from the Clinical Ladder program. They filed a grievance and won a settlement restoring their eligibility in the program that helps them increase their pay.
