Using the Cloverleaf Lakes public boat launch? Please remember to pay the launch fee and take a few simple steps to help protect our lakes.

Daily launch fees are $5 for residents and $10 for non-residents. Annual permits are $30 for residents and $60 for non-residents.

While you’re at the landing, please also follow Clean Boats, Clean Waters practices: inspect your boat, trailer, and gear; remove plants or debris; drain water; and dispose of unwanted bait properly. These small steps help prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS) and support ongoing efforts to manage milfoil and starry stonewort in the Cloverleaf Lakes.

AIS Technicians may be on site to assist when available. Thank you for doing your part to help keep Cloverleaf Lakes clean, healthy, and protected for future generations.

Summer weather is here, and so is more boating fun on the Cloverleaf Lakes. ☀️

More boats, more fun, and more reason to give each other space. A little extra room helps keep swimmers, shorelines, docks, jet skis, tubers, and other boaters safe.

Part of enjoying and sharing the lake is knowing the rules and helping follow them.

Turtle crossing season is here. 🐢

Turtle nesting season peaks around the lakes through June. During this time, female turtles often leave the safety of lakes, rivers, and wetlands to search for sunny nesting spots with dry, loose, or sandy soil where they can dig their nests and bury their eggs.

That search can take them through yards and across roadways, making this a particularly hazardous time for them.

Please slow down, stay alert, and give turtles space to cross safely when you can. A little patience helps protect one of nature’s oldest travelers.

Being a good lake steward means respecting the rules and ordinances that help protect our lakes, while looking out for our neighbors and everyone who enjoys the Cloverleaf Lakes. It means boating responsibly, protecting the water we all share, and knowing the right next step when safety concerns arise.

If you see a safety concern or ordinance violation, please report it through the proper channels with clear details, including the date, time, location, boat registration number, photos if available, and your name when filing a complaint. Concerns are easiest to address when they are documented and reported through the proper channels.

As a reminder, wake boats are allowed on the lakes. However, certain enhanced wake activities are restricted under Town of Belle Plaine Ordinance No. 2025-6 and can be reported through the process outlined in the image.

Keeping the Cloverleaf Lakes safe, respectful, and enjoyable is a shared responsibility. Thank you for doing your part. 💚

As boat traffic picks up on the Cloverleaf Lakes, here’s a friendly reminder to know and follow the boating rules that help keep our lakes safe, healthy, and enjoyable for everyone.

Boating on Pine, Grass, and Round Lakes is governed by Wisconsin state law and local Town of Belle Plaine ordinances. The highlights are included in the image, but please review the full ordinances through the Town of Belle Plaine for complete details.
