Being “Champ of the Day” and learning new boxing skills.

Amir has a shy and laid-back personality, but his dedication stands out whenever he trains. He takes working out seriously and genuinely enjoys pushing himself. Even without being loud or outspoken, he motivates the people around him by encouraging them to do exercises correctly and stay focused. Coaches frequently compliment his strong plank form, discipline, and consistent work ethic, recognizing how hard he works while breezing thru the obstacle course. Way to go Champ🌟

Memorial Day memories! 🇺🇸 We enjoyed each and every one of you. From decorating the trailer and waiting what seemed like forever for the parade to start, you all were on your best behavior! The picnic was full of good food, good music, and most of all, a good time.

Team Reed definitely kicked Team Amin’s butt in kickball 😜 lol!

Thank you all for making this event such a success. We can’t wait to do this again!

Leah is new to the boxing club, but she picked things up quickly. She stood out because she took every lesson seriously and was eager to learn. Leah wasn’t afraid to step up and spar with one of the coaches after only being there a short time. She has the heart of a lion. Way to go Champ🌟

Hello everyone! Here’s a more detailed list of the events happening on Memorial Day.

We need everyone to arrive between 8:45–9:00 AM. The parade will begin at 10:00 AM, and we are in Division 3. Our meeting spot will be behind Elyria City Hall.

We are still in need of candy, so if you haven’t donated yet, please send your child with candy on Saturday or bring it Monday morning.

The picnic will begin approximately 30 minutes after the parade to give us some time to set up. The splash pad will be open so bring a towel. Wear tennis shoes we will be playing kickball and basketball!

If you haven’t signed up to bring something, or if you are unable to bring what you signed up for, please message me!

Shirts are arriving today and will be passed out on Saturday at Our Space and again Monday morning before the parade.

We will also be decorating the trailer on Saturday. If you are able to help, please bring anything boxing-related that we can use for decorations.

E’ndrea comes to boxing, puts in the work, and then heads right to cheer practice. Recently, she shared with us that her Cheer Squad is heading to Nationals! As a side base for her squad, she has to be strong — and she proudly told her peers that part of her strength comes from training at boxing.
This young lady always puts her best foot forward and gives her all in everything she does. Winning two medals in one week proves just that! Congratulations to Champion Force Elyria Cheerleading on your accomplishment! Way to go Champ!🌟

What is your favorite thing about Boxing and the Mentorship? The obstacle course, the punching bags and equipment

Devontay (“Twin”) may be in a little body, but he brings powerhouse energy every time he steps into the gym. He gives 1000 percent effort in everything he does, stays focused, and always works the right way. Whether he’s training or flying through the obstacle course, his determination and attitude stand out. He’s an all-around great kid with a strong work ethic and a bright future ahead of him. Way to go Champ!🌟

We’re not just Elyria — we’re all of Lorain County. We welcome and encourage kids from every community to join us. This program is about so much more than punching and sparring. It’s about guidance, support, showing up for our youth, and seeing those smiling faces every day.

Each day brings new challenges, but it’s all worth it in the end. Today, Mayor Jack Bradley (Lorain) and his wife Debora stopped by to check out the gym. They were impressed by the program, our coaches, the facility, and most importantly, the kids.

A special thank you to Brooke, one of our amazing parents, for helping put this together. It truly takes a village to teach, guide, and uplift our children. This is an amazing program get your kids involved!
