Ohio Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Coalition

Ohio Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Coalition Ohio is internationally recognized as a global center for the fuel cell industry.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

The Coalition was established to ensure Ohio’s presence both regionally and nationally in current fuel cell discussions and will work to:

Build upon existing industry and academic strengths of research and development, advanced manufacturing, advanced materials technologies, components, and services to advance the integration of a coordinated, robust fuel cell infrastructure a

nd supply chain. Promote public awareness about the positive role fuel cell technology can play as an efficient, reliable and environmentally responsible source of energy in a wide variety of applications. Expand networking and information sharing opportunities that lead to greater alliances and understanding of the economic opportunities available to Ohio organizations. Encourage federal funding that will leverage state resources in the development of fuel cell technology and the locating of commercial development, manufacturing assets, and job creation in Ohio.

The Energy Future Built Here
Why Ohio? Why Now?
Fuel cells, hydrogen, electrolyzers, and batteries aren't emerging technologies anymore. They're being built, deployed, and scaled today, and much of that work is happening in Ohio and the Midwest.

The OFCHC Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Symposium is where the people building these commercial solutions meet the people scaling and deploying them. Not a startup pitch event. Not a policy advocacy convention. A working conference for an industry that has moved from research to revenue.

Join us for our Symposium on October 27-28. More info & registration: https://conta.cc/4gRD7Nq

Introducing our speaker for our August 19 Lunch & Learn Webinar!

Xiao-D**g Zhou is the Director of the Center for Clean Energy Engineering (C2E2) at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Zhou comes to UConn from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL Lafayette) where he served as the Stuller Endowed Chair in the Chemical Engineering Department and the director of the Institute for Materials Research and Innovations.

In 2021, the Electrochemical Society named Zhou a Fellow for his efforts in clean energy innovations. Prior to UL Lafayette, Zhou worked as a professor of chemical engineering at the University of South Carolina where he was honored the prestigious J. Bruce Wagner, Jr. Young Investigator Award for demonstrating exceptional promise in the field of high-temperature energy, materials, and processes.

We are excited to hear this expert's take on Solid Oxides in clean energy storage during our Solid Oxide primer.
