OSU Extension- Lorain County 4-H is a program that spreads across the country, with one common goal in mind, education.

We offer learning experiences in more than 200 subject matter areas. 4-H offers programs and projects in citizenship and civic education, communications and expressional art, consumer and family sciences, agriculture and natural resources, healthy lifestyle education, leadership, plant and animal science, science and technology, and food and nutrition. 4-H simply offers something to meet everyone’

All staff will be off site for programming today (6/17) starting at 11:10am till around 2pm. We will then be here for the rest of the day till 4:30. If you need to make a trip to the office, plan accordingly and call ahead to be sure someone is in the office to assist you. Thank you!

PSA: It's camp season and the growing season is now in full swing! Our staff is busy with summer programming, so please make sure you call ahead before you visit the office to ensure someone is able to assist you. Today (6/15), all staff will be out programming starting at 3 PM. If you have to make a visit today, try to make it before 3. Please be sure to leave a voice mail or email us if we do not connect with you right away, that way we can follow up with you as soon as we are able.

🚨 Reminder for Swine Exhibitors! 🐷
(MANDATORY REQUIREMENT)
The possession deadline is June 1st. To remain eligible to exhibit, ALL swine exhibitors MUST be in compliance by this date.
✅ Required for Compliance:

All hogs must have 840 tags in place
A clear photo of each hog with the tag visible must be uploaded
The swine registration form must be fully completed on our website

⚠️ Exhibitors who do not meet these requirements by June 1st will not be eligible to show. There are no exceptions.

840 tags can be picked up at the Extension Office during posted hours.
