Save Our Children of Elyria

Save Our Children of Elyria Save Our Children of Elyria is a non-profit after school program for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, to whom we provide free homework help.

Non-Profit Agency that provides high-quality after-school youth educational services that empower children to reach their full potential, fostering academic excellence, personal growth, and community engagement. We also participate in a teen mentoring program which allows students in 9th through 12th grade to volunteer and become peer mentors and classroom assistants. Save Our Children of Elyria u

tilizes partnerships with the Elyria Public Library, Lorain County Metroparks, LCADA, and LCCC to give students access to fun, engaging, literacy building activities.

Students learned about how important community is and the development of downtown areas. They broke into 2 teams and each team came up with a business that they would like to see in downtown Elyria that would attract people and draw people back after leaving the area.
