It is with a very heavy heart to say this, my grandmother, Past District President Ruth Conrad passed away late last night. Ruth served as President for the years of 2003-2004 and 2010-2011. Information about a Celebration of Life will be sent out when more information is known. Please keep my family and her partner, John in your prayers.

ELYRIA VFW POST 1079 FALL FESTIVAL THIS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18th!! OPEN TO PUBLIC! 🍂🎃👻🍭

* Trunk decorating begins at 2 pm
* Trunk or Treating begins at 2:30 pm
* Fall Festival Activities begin at 3 pm

There will be a prize for prize for Best Decorated Trunk and a Costume Contest for all kids under 15 years old.

0-4 years
5-7 years
8-15 years
VFW Post 1079 will also be accepting donations for candy at this event.
