The City of Elyria, Ohio recently hosted an incredible food drive at City Hall, challenging each department to step up and support our community—and they absolutely delivered! What department do you think won this challenge? comment below!

A huge thank you to every department and employee who participated and contributed to this effort. The generosity shown resulted in an amazing amount of donations that will go directly toward helping The Pioneer Freedge continue its mission of providing free, accessible food to those who need it most.

We are seeking local groups, organizations, businesses, churches, and clubs to host canned and non-perishable food drives to help keep the Elyria Pioneer Freedge stocked for our community.

✨ Needed Items Include:
• Canned goods
• Boxed meals
• Shelf-stable foods
• Other non-perishable items, spices, toiletries, dog/cat food

Your participation helps ensure free, accessible food for neighbors in need. Every donation counts —whether it’s canned goods, boxed meals, or other shelf-stable items.

TOMORROW December 5th join WOBL WDLW Radio, and Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio for the Holiday Cheer Lock-In!

Help us reach our goal of raising $10,000 in one day! Every $1 donated provides 6 meals for those in need.

How to Donate & Get Involved:

Drop Off In-Person (7 AM – Midnight): Visit the radio stations on State Route 20 in Oberlin, OH.

Meet Santa! Visit Santa Claus at his workshop from 4 PM – 8 PM!
