Be part of a LIVE art competition during Third Thursday at Ely Square! Join us on July 16 for a fun, fast-paced 90-minute painting challenge in the heart of downtown Elyria. 🖌✨

Create your own artistic interpretation of Ely Square using your favorite style and medium — canvases will be provided!

🚲 Third Thursday is back on June 18th — and we’re kicking things off with a special Community Bike Ride through downtown Elyria!

Meet at the bike table near the Ely Square gazebo at 5:45 PM for a casual, guided Historical Bike Route through downtown Elyria. The ride begins at 6 PM and is designed to be a fun, relaxed community ride appropriate for all ages and experience levels. Bring your own bike and lock, and come enjoy an evening exploring the city together!

A huge thank you to the incredible partners who help make these rides possible: Kelly and the Elyria Bicycle Advisory Committee, the Elyria Police Department, Lorain County Public Health, and the City of Elyria Parks & Recreation. We’re grateful for their support in creating a safe and welcoming experience for the community. 💙

Yesterday we officially celebrated the ribbon cutting for Foster Senior Lofts — Elyria Community Partnership’s newest 55+ senior housing development in partnership with Pivotal Housing Partners! ✂️🏡✨

Thank you to the many partners, investors, public officials, community leaders, and supporters who helped make this project possible. Your collaboration and commitment continue to move Elyria forward.

Foster Senior Lofts brings 46 new senior housing units to Elyria and represents another meaningful investment in our community’s future. This project reflects ECP’s mission to strengthen Elyria through thoughtful development, vibrant placemaking, and opportunities that help residents thrive.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate this exciting milestone and proud to welcome Foster Senior Lofts to the community. 💙

🌸 Spring Open House Recap, Round 2! 🌸

We’re still smiling thinking about all the energy in Downtown Elyria for the Spring Open House! From passports being filled out to mural hunt adventures, local shopping, and community connections, it was so exciting seeing people spend the day exploring downtown. 🛍✨

One of the best parts? Hearing so many attendees talk about discovering businesses they hadn’t visited before and finding new places they can’t wait to come back to. That’s exactly what events like this are all about! 💚

Thank you again to everyone who participated, volunteered, vended, hosted, and supported the event — and to everyone who braved the rainy weather to make the day such a success. We loved celebrating Downtown Elyria with you! 🌷

Such an amazing turnout for the Memorial Day Parade! 🇺🇸❤️

Thankful to march alongside Elyria Parks & Recreation Department, members of the ECP staff, board, SPARK board, and our incredible community as we honored those who served our country and remembered the meaning of Memorial Day. Today was a beautiful reminder of the power of unity, remembrance, and community pride.

We were able to pass out chips along with ECP’s Third Thursday schedule for June, July, and August! We look forward to seeing everyone this summer as we continue to show up strong for all the amazing downtown events!
