Camp Shamineau's Rock Ridge

Hey Shamineau friends,

With the current weather conditions we wanted to give you a camp update.

We are continuing to adapt to the conditions Camp Shamineau is experiencing. We have adjusted programming to include less strenuous activities and more time indoors as needed. Our staff continue to be attentive in helping campers to stay cool and hydrated.

Our wilderness camp Rock Ridge in Ely, has had to have a measured response. All Rock Ridge campers and staff are safe and happily relocated to Camp Shamineau in Motley for the remainder of the week! The air quality at Rock Ridge has been highly affected by the fires in the Boundary Waters prompting this relocation. All Rock Ridge campers are now settled in and enjoying Camp Shamineau activities!

We encourage you to pray for camp and most specifically Rock Ridge in Ely as we navigate the remainder of the summer.

For the air quality to improve in such a way that we can safely host campers in the coming weeks
