Michigan FFA Alumni

Michigan FFA Alumni would like to take a moment to say a special thank you to all of our amazing farmers! The work you do day in and day out does not go unnoticed. From raising livestock to growing the crops that sustain us, agriculture plays an important role in our everyday lives and communities.

Farming takes dedication, hard work, and a passion for providing for others. Today, we recognize and celebrate the individuals and families who work tirelessly to keep agriculture thriving and ensure that food, fiber, and other essential resources make it to our tables.

Today and every day, take a moment to thank a farmer for all they do. Thank you, farmers, for all you do to keep agriculture growing! 🚜🌾

Michigan FFA Alumni & Friends Announces New Intern Scholarship Opportunity

The Michigan FFA Alumni & Friends is proud to announce the launch of the Michigan FFA Alumni & Friends Intern Scholarship, a new initiative designed to support student leadership development while strengthening the organization’s communication and record-keeping efforts.
Beginning in 2026, one student will be selected annually to serve as the organization’s Social Media Development Coordinator and assist with digital file organization, including the digitization of historical and financial documents. The selected intern will receive a $1,500 scholarship, awarded in three $500 increments for the summer, fall, and spring semesters.
“The Alumni & Friends Council recognizes the importance of maintaining a strong digital presence and preserving our organization’s history,” said Jessie Bulloch, Council President. “This scholarship allows us to invest in a student leader while meeting critical organizational needs.”
Applicants will complete a formal application and participate in an interview with the Executive Committee. The scholarship is renewable based on performance, financial need, and council approval.
Students pursuing agricultural education, communications, agribusiness, or related fields are encouraged to apply.

Thank you to everyone that was able to attend the 51st Michigan FFA Alumni & Friends Annual Meeting. It was a great success!

Our auctions combined raised over $7000 for our scholarships that assist both higher education and give students an opportunity to attend the Washington Leadership Conference. We are so very thankful for those members that also donated items towards the auction. Another highlight of the auction is that we had a member of the New Lothrop FFA Chapter serve as our auctioneer for the night, highlighting the talent our programs can help foster and guide.

We also recognized award winners of the Floyd Beneker Hall of Fame Award, the Outstanding Alumni Chapter Award, the Michigan FFA Alumni & Friends All-Star Awards, the WLC Scholarship recipients were recognized, followed by the CANR/Vet Med Scholarship recipients.

We hope to see you all again next year at the 52nd Michigan FFA Alumni & Friends Annual Meeting.
