As we near our next handler class, we want to take a moment and thank all of our puppy raisers for what they do. Without volunteers like you we couldn't turn these cute little furballs into service dogs that change lives. Thank you from all of us out here at the farm.

This past weekend was our second weekend of recerts for the year. The dogs had an absolute blast running through the crop fields. We all had a fun weekend out here and are happy to see all the teams working together.

With great sadness SPW Violet has passed. Violets mother was pregnant years ago in a kill shelter, where a rescue pulled her. She gave birth to around 8 puppies. Service Peace Warriors picked 2 from that litter, Sherman and Violet. Both made beautiful service dogs for veterans. She served her handler for many years, bringing comfort and joy, and will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was the first Service Dog to join the team out at Energy Northwest. Throughout her many years of service, there are countless people whom she has impacted through helping her veteran.

Every day of training is a new adventure. Some days it's a competition on who will be the bestest boy/girl..... other days it's who's going to be the class clown.

We had a great 1st weekend of spring recertification of our teams. Here are some of the photos from this past weekend. We even had a little friendly competition on who could put their dog in a down the farthest away.

One of our handlers and their family gifted us this awesome little sign at their team recertification today. It's rewarding to see the difference we make in the lives of not just the handler but the handler's family as well.

Our Puppy Raiser Health checks are for more than just checking nails and seeing our puppies. Sometimes it's just fun to let them play while the Trainers answer everyday questions the Puppy Raisers have.
