Fall Campaign Update: We’re 50% of the way to our $50,000 match! Thank you so much to everyone that has donated already! 🫶 To celebrate, we thought we’d play a little game: here are a few photos from Jewish Life and Hillel that are 50% pixelated, and 100% zoomed in. As more gifts come in and we continue reaching our match, we’ll make the pictures clearer and clearer. Can you be the first to guess who/what the pictures are of? 👀 Leave your guesses down below!!!

We are so lucky to have so many loving and supportive alumni, and we are so happy some of them came back for Homecoming Shabbat!

Here’s what they had to say about their time at Elon, as well as some advice for current students.

Hear about why we love Elon Jewish Life and Hillel!

As we welcome our amazing alumni back to campus for Homecoming, we’re reminiscing on the joy, connection, and community that made Family Weekend Shabbat so special.

Last week, we wrapped up Sukkot with so many great moments spent together in the Sukkah 🌿✨ Right after, we came together for Shabbat and Simchat Torah to celebrate as a community.

This week began on a much more solemn note as we gathered to honor and remember October 7th, leaning on each other in reflection, strength, and solidarity 🕯️💙

Looking ahead, we have two big updates to share:
• We are getting closer to reaching our $50,000 match! Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed so far. Your support makes everything we do possible.
• We are so excited to welcome our alumni back home to campus this weekend!

We can’t wait to see everyone! Drop a 💙 if you’ll be here this weekend

🫂Join us in community as we remember, mourn & hold in our hearts the memories of the many who died or were taken hostage on October 7, 2023.

🕯️May their memories be a blessing.

Community is the way we show our resilience. Join Elon Jewish Life & Elon Hillel for three events today (details in our stories) to remember, reflect, and find light in the darkness.

💛 We are here for students and community members all day in the Sklut Hillel Center if you want to talk or process the day or visit the October 7th ANU Museum art exhibition in the pavilion.

Remembering October 7 always,

Betsy, Sarah, Boaz, Jay, Rabbi Maor, Tal & Miri '27 & Owen '27 (Elon Hillel Co-presidents)
