A big shout out to Michelle Quinn, Manager, GDM for taking time out of her busy schedule to educate our club members on everything GDM!

GDM, formally Ag-Reliant, is leading the industry with cutting edge technology research and development in the agricultural industry. The Elmwood location has the ability to dry, condition and ship 600,000 units of seed corn! 🌽

Michelle covered the harvest, drying and conditioning processes. As a global leader in plant genetics we our fortunate to have GDM in our community. Employing 35 full time and up to 75 seasonal employees impacts our local economy!

Our regular monthly meeting will be held at Maple Lane Country Club, in the area east of the pool building, at 7 AM on Wednesday, August 5th. We want to soak up as much of summer as we can! ☀️

Member Ken Blum is hosting and has purchased donuts & coffee for this meeting. 🍩☕

Gene Gibson has invited a representative from Ag Reliant as our guest speaker. We are looking forward to learning more about their operations.

Interested in making a difference in our community? Stop in for the meeting. Ask questions and learn more about what our club is all about.

Harold Jehle recently presented a donation to Les Atwood of the Elmwood Yates City Farmington Fireworks Association, demonstrating our club’s commitment to supporting community events that bring families and communities together.
As we celebrate 250 years, we encourage everyone to head to Elmwood’s Sweetwater Park on Saturday night for the fireworks display, which will begin at dusk. 🎇🎆🇺🇸

What a wonderful morning at our monthly Kiwanis meeting! 💙

We were honored to welcome our 2026 Key Club Scholarship recipients, Evan Patterson and Addison Thrasher, who shared their exciting college plans. We wish them all the best as they begin this next chapter!

A special thank you to Key Club Advisor Stephanie Colgan for providing an update on the outstanding activities and service projects our Key Club members have been involved in throughout the year. We are proud of the positive impact these students continue to make in our community.

Another Strawberry 🍓 Festival in the books, marking another year of our club's tradition of cooking pork chops from the Elmwood Locker for the festival food tent. It was so nice for everyone who stopped to show their appreciation and to tell us how delicious they were. Thank you to our exceptional grill masters and most of all to the festival organizers and volunteers who work to make the event a success!
