Raptor Conservation Alliance

Raptor Conservation Alliance Founded in 1976 as Raptor Recovery Center , RCA has to date rescued and treated over 15,000 raptors from Nebraska and surrounding states.

Nearly 50% have been released back to the wild, among the highest success rates in the country. The mission of Raptor Conservation Alliance is to provide care and support for injured and orphaned raptors in preparation for release; to assist in the management of raptor populations and raptor research; to enlist public support for raptor conservation through educational programs, displays and speci

al events utilizing live raptors as ambassadors for their kind. Raptor Conservation Alliance is unique in its structure; a statewide volunteer network that picks up injured or orphaned raptors and releases those successfully rehabilitated. RCA also presents educational programs on raptors across the state. RCA is a 501(c)(3) organization. YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfhs-S7IVJUeQgQwld5wFWQ

We had another great chance to get the message out to our next generation about the negative impact our interactions have on our Raptor populations. This was the Spark program with Lincoln Public Schools and their attendees. Great questions were taken and their insights as to how this can happen and what we can do to mitigate these occurrences was very encouraging!
