A message from the president of Dannys Wish. Amedeo Dino Sgueglia
It’s comes with great sadness to announce that we are officially shutting down the Danny’s Wish Charity.
We’ve had tremendous success in the past but we are no longer able to support the efforts.
Our iPads for Autism mission has helped thousands and thousands of families across the US and even some abroad.
The use of the iPad as an augmentative device has helped these children communicate basic necessities and wants. Some for the first time.
We are so proud as an organization of what we have achieved. And it always brings me tremendous joy, looking back over the years viewing and reading all the posts online from parents and their children.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the Herculean efforts of everyone involved in the organization over the countless years. We also appreciate everybody who helped out over the years including the supporters who came out and gave, year after year.
I’m very proud and very sad today.
