Congratulations to Leon Williams Jr on being selected as Elmont's Small Business Person of the Year!

The Elmont Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize the incredible impact of the Long Island Pizza Strong fundraiser in support of the Espinosa family.

While we were not organizers of this effort, we applaud the way the Long Island community came together in such a powerful and heartfelt way. This is what community looks like.

A special thank you to the Long Island Pizza Strong team, the 310 participating pizzerias, and every individual who showed up, ordered pizza, donated, and spread the word.

We are especially proud of our Elmont-based pizzerias who participated:
• Gino’s
• King Umberto
• Martino’s
• Salvatore’s

When local businesses step up alongside neighbors across Long Island, it reminds us how strong our region truly is.

Well done, Long Island

LI Pizza Strong!

02/25/2026

On Wednesday, February 25, these amazing Elmont pizzerias are donating $5 from every pie sold to support the family of Officer Patricia Espinosa through the Long Island Pizza Strong initiative.

Let’s show the strength of our community by ordering local and making an impact.

🍕 Participating Elmont pizzerias:
• King Umberto
• Salvatore’s of Elmont
• Gino’s of Elmont
• Martino’s of Elmont

Whether it’s lunch, dinner, or feeding a crowd, every pie helps.

👉 Elmont residents — please spread the word, tag your friends, and plan your pizza night for Wednesday. Let’s show up strong.
(Please support these fine establishments throughout the year!)
