Southside Community Center Southside Community Center, serving children and their families since 1976! Meals are served at 5:00 pm every day, year round.

The Southside Community Center provides out of school time (including summer months) staff lead educational, enriching, and recreational programming FREE of charge to School Age Youth! Mission Statement:
The Mission of The Southside Community Center is to provide our youth with the tools to use their time more constructively, help them make wise choices and to help them become happy, healthy adult

Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri: 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Wed: 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Summer Hours: 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm


SERVICES:
The Southside Community Center provides recreational, enrichment and educational programming - FREE OF CHARGE! MEAL PROGRAM:
The Southside Community Center is now able to provide a FREE nutritious meal to all of our children, ages 5-18. FIELD TRIPS:
What a great way to show our youth what a wonderful community in which we live. Trips have included Harris Hill, Arnot Art Museum, Hands on Glass Studio, Rockwell Museum, Clemens Center, NYC and more! PROGRAMS:
The Southside Community Center is able to offer age appropriate workshops which focus on self esteem, conflict resolution, healthy lifestyle skills and much more. COMMUNITY SERVICES PROJECTS:
The Southside Community Center provides Community Services Projects for our young people including volunteering at the following community events: Strong Kids Safe Kids; Children's Hunger Walk; making fleece blankets for babies in the neo-natal intensive care unit and for he elderly; Downtown Development Projects and much more.
