The Bon Foundation asks for your support to help cover expenses related to the Menri Drupchen or Mendup (Medicine) Grand Retreat which is an important part of the ancient Bon tradition. The ritual is going on right now, April 11th to April 27th 2024. The Menri Dubchen is held once in the lifetime of each Menri Abbot, extends 17 days, and is one of the most ancient and sacred rituals in the Bon tradition. To learn more about the Menri Drupchen we recommend reading this exquisite description by Raven Cypress Wood https://wp.me/p35YG8-2wP

While funds will be sent to Menri following the conclusion of the ceremonies, all funds will be designated to cover the costs of this elaborate and unique ceremony. Donations of any amount are welcomed, but the following amounts could be used to guide your contribution:
Tea for All Participants and Attendees: $65.00
Mendrup Medicine Ingredients: $120.00
Breakfast for All Monks, Nuns, and Children Participating in the Ceremony: $200.00
Lunch for All Monks, Nuns, and Children Participating in the Ceremony: $400.00
All-In-One Day Sponsor of the Grand Retreat: $1,500.00

Please consider donating today to support this sacred event at the link below ( https://bonfoundation.org/product/make-a-donation/ ) and include the note "Menri Drupchen" at checkout so we appropriately designate your funds.

The Bon Foundation has established a General Donations Fund for the discretionary use of the Menri Abbot to address miscellaneous needs and unexpected emergencies as they arise. These might include medical and other emergencies, elder assistance, vital equipment repairs, prayers and ceremonies, etc....
