Help Us Keep Our Community Warm! ❤️

The EFRC is collecting donations for the Keeping the Community Warm community event! We’re accepting items such as coats, blankets, hats, gloves, winter boots, and other winter essentials for all ages.

📍 Donations can be dropped off at the Elmira Family Resource Center through November 15th.

Every donation makes a difference, and we appreciate our families and community members coming together to help keep everyone warm this winter! ❤️

Our participant, Jacob, has been doing an amazing job! Not only is he actively involved in our Supported Work Program at Squatch Den Records, but he has also been doing great in school this year.

And now for the exciting news... Jacob just passed his permit test! 🚗

AD Alexis and Advocate Morgan have spent time talking with Jacob about the importance of obtaining his driver's license, and he finally decided to take the next step. YAP was proud to cover the cost of the permit test and help him prepare.

Congratulations, Jacob! Your hard work and determination are paying off.

🚨 E-Bike Safety Reminder 🚨
With the recent uptick in e-bike incidents and calls related to riding, we want to take a moment to remind everyone to ride safely and follow the proper guidelines.
Please remember the importance of following all traffic laws, staying aware of your surroundings, and using the appropriate safety equipment. Taking a few extra precautions can make a big difference.
When charging lithium-ion batteries, always follow the manufacturer’s guidelines. Charge batteries in a safe, appropriate area and never alter, modify, or tamper with the battery or charging equipment. Improper use or modifications can significantly increase the risk of battery failure, fire, or serious injury.
Please ride smart, ride safe, and look out for one another.
