Congratulations to our Board member, Rita McCabe for receiving this honorable award yesterday in Albany. Rita sits on the Alliance For Empowerment Board as well on the Board of our network members, Able2 and Capabilities, Inc.
We would like to add our personal thank you for all she does for all 3 agencies. Rita, we appreciate all of your time, dedication, commitment and care.

Today, I was honored to travel to Albany with Rita McCabe and Robert Nelson, who were recognized by Greg Olsen, Acting Director of New York State Office for the Aging, for their outstanding dedication to improving lives in Chemung County through volunteerism. We celebrated a remarkable group of over 100 older adults who volunteer their time and energy to make a difference in communities statewide. I offer my congratulations to Robert and Rita on this prestigious recognition, celebrating their selfless contributions.

Thank you to WETM 18 News for the coverage of Brushstrokes in Blue, an upcoming fundraiser for our network member, Able2, raising awareness and drawing support for Able2's mission of advocating and supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

Able2 is set to present a night of art, music and charity to in Elmira, all for a good cause.
