After serving as a New York State Trooper, Dr. Harris went on to receive his PhD in History with a focus on "electoral and protest politics, race and inequality, and the African Diaspora." He sat down with ECCA to explain the parallels between Judas and the Black Messiah, set in the late 1960s, and our current political and racial environment.
