There will be a wreath laying ceremony Sunday 29 March at Woodlawn National Cemetery, 0900hrs in Honor of Vietnam Veterans Day. Marine Corp League firing Volleys and playing Taps. VVA Honor Guard providing Colors. Short opening, prayer, and Pledge of Allegiance. Second wreath laying will happen at Eldridge Park Vietnam Memorial afterwards. As a Veteran or as a civilian please attend to Honor those who served this country in its time of need.

This is to all life members of VVA Chapter 803: We, as a Chapter are working toward our separation from National and became a new group with a new name. Officers and Board members will meet to draft a resolution to separate and decide on a name. All life members will stay as life members if you wish. Business will be conducted as usual. VVA State and VVA National will both be dissolving in the next two year, so no matter what we do, there will be a name change. The resolution will be voted on at our next meeting March 9, at 1700hrs at 140 Sullivan Street, Elmira. Feel free to contact me (Larry Sherman) at 607-214-1642 or 607-737-2760 (museum).

This beautiful hand crafted "Old Glory" table was made by Hayes Woodcrafters in Horseheads, NY. This table will be raffled off to raise money for the upkeep of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 803 Museum located at 1200 Davis Street in Elmira, NY at a later date.
