We are incredibly grateful to the amazing team of volunteers from Siemens Energy who joined us for United Way’s annual Day of Action last Friday.

Their hard work and dedication made a meaningful impact as they helped clear out two abandoned properties—spaces that will one day be transformed into safe, affordable Habitat homes for families in our community.

We also extend a big thank you to Domino’s Pizza of Horseheads for generously providing lunch for volunteers. Your support helped keep our crew fueled and ready to make a difference!

Our mission to build affordable homes would not be possible without the strength of partnerships like these. Together, we are building homes, communities, and hope!

A good crowd of people seeking affordable homeownership resources turned out at our first Affordable Housing Forum yesterday. Community agencies and lenders provided a wealth of information to attendees. Thank you for covering this event, sponsored by Five Star Bank, Near Westside, and Alternatives Federal Credit Union.

ELMIRA HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WENY) — For the first time ever, the Chemung County Habitat for Humanity welcomed community members to an Affordable Housing Forum. On Wednesday, vendors came together to
