Founded in 1918, the Elmhurst Knights of Columbus Council #1911 has been a proud pillar of faith, charity, and fellowship in the community for over a century.

Rooted in Catholic values, the council brings together men dedicated to service.

Joining the Knights of Columbus is an opportunity to put your faith into action while building friendships with men who share a commitment to their families, their Church and their community. You don’t have to have unlimited free time or attend every meeting. You simply bring what you can, when you can, and become part of a brotherhood that works together to make a difference.

At Elmhurst Knights of Columbus Council #1911, that difference can be seen throughout our community. We raise money for charitable causes, support people with intellectual disabilities, help local families, support Catholic education, organize blood drives, volunteer our time and create events that bring people together. And yes, we have plenty of fun along the way. Fish fries, social nights, community events, fundraisers and time spent with fellow Knights and their families are every bit a part of the experience.

Why become a Knight? Because there comes a point when giving back feels pretty darn good. Because friendships built while working side-by-side mean something. Because our churches and communities still need men willing to step forward. And because sometimes the best way to strengthen your own faith and family is by helping strengthen someone else's.

You don't join the Knights just to belong to something.

This Sunday, October 18, the Elmhurst Knights of Columbus Council #1911 invites YOU to roll up your sleeves and help save lives! Join us at The Renaissance Room, 537 S. York Street in Elmhurst, from 8:00 AM to 1:15 PM for our community Blood Drive in partnership with Vitalant. We're calling on our Brother Knights, their families, friends, neighbors and the entire Elmhurst community to come together for a cause that truly matters. Your simple act of generosity could make a lifesaving difference for someone in need.

PLEASE SIGN UP EARLY! Reserving your preferred donation time helps us plan ahead, ensure adequate staffing and supplies, and collect as many lifesaving units of blood as possible. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are strongly encouraged. Bring a friend, encourage a family member and help us make this one of our most successful blood drives yet!
