Thursday night was the kick off for the 2026-27 Op Session season.
We had a small but fun group of club members running a variety of trains.

Busy Thursday night on both the HO & N scale mainlines. A good variety of traffic.

As a reminder, the club will be closed on 9/11 and 9/12 due to the Rock the Block event in downtown Elmhurst.

Ramping up work night coverage as we head into the fall.
A few continued projects with on going updates to Block 9 & 10 by Ron J. Sorry missed getting a photo. 🙄
Plans were made for a switch replacement in a Block 11/12 on 9/22.
Other plans discussed on changes in block 7 to add additional switching opportunities for our future Op Sessions. More to come on this change.
Finally, as renters, we have to go with the flow and deal with changes. With a new restaurant coming in upstairs, new plumbing was run in several locations. Repair to the office framing in prep for wallboard replacement by Tim S. and ceiling tile replacement by Don B (excellent work!) Now to wait for final inspection.
