LAST CALL TIME IS RUNNING OUT!
This is the anual Leave No Trace Training course held every fall.
Get your Scouts ready for High Adventure, or for working as a Summer Camp Staff member
Outdoor Ethics is now in every part of Scouting Advancement. What better way to help your Crew, Troop, or Pack than to become a Leave No Trace Trainer? If you have older Scouts that are looking to do something different have them attend this course. They will learn to teach the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace and become a Leave No Trace Trainer. This Training is recognized by all the National Parks and other land managers.
If you have Scouts that are looking to work on summer camp staff, this will help them be better prepared and qualified for those staff positions.
If you are a Pack leader this is a great course to learn how to teach your den leaders and lead the Pack in Outdoor Ethics activities
This course is open to all youth over the age of 14 and all registered adults. This is a great opportunity for your youth to become trainers and lead the Outdoor Ethics sessions of courses like IOLS, Wood Badge, and LYLT. We have had some our youth trainers be requested to teach Outdoor Ethics outside of our council. This is an opportunity for your older scouts or Venturers to explore other options.
Sign up today for this advanced training course held on October 6,7,and 8 at Von Oven Scout Camp in Naperville. This is a 2 night camping event and the Saturday meal will once again be prepared by Outdoor Ethics Committee Chef Greg.
