💰 $6,700 Check Presentation! 🦁

We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to an organization that does so much for our community.

With the help of the Elmhurst Lions Foundation and our club’s fundraising efforts, we were proud to present a $6,700 check to the @ Elmhurst/Yorkfield Food Pantry to help purchase a much-needed new refrigerator.

The Food Pantry provides an important service to local families, and we are honored to support their work and help keep this vital resource serving our community.

🍻 The Elmhurst Lions Club at the Elmhurst Craft B**r Fest! 🦁

We were excited to make our first appearance at the Elmhurst Craft B**r Fest with our Lions Club tent!

We love having a presence in our community, meeting our neighbors, sharing what the Elmhurst Lions Club is all about, and letting people know about the many ways we serve our community and make a difference.

This was our first year, but we hope it becomes a new Lions tradition for years to come!

A big thank-you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and learn more about the Elmhurst Lions. We are proud to be part of this wonderful community!

We Serve. 🦁💙

🦁 A Great Evening with the Elmhurst Lions Club! 🦁

We were honored to welcome retired Elmhurst City Manager, Lion Jim Grabowski as our special guest speaker. Jim shared what he’s been up to since retirement.

Guess what??? He’s loving it! Traveling, golfing, and checking off items from his bucket list! All of these in just two weeks.

But the evening didn’t end there! Our Lions members came together for a service project supporting the Lions of Illinois Foundation, sorting and preparing donated eyeglasses, hearing aids, and phones to help those in need.

Donations included:

👓 450 plastic-frame eyeglasses
👓 400 metal-frame eyeglasses
📱 7 phones
🦻 5 hearing aids

That’s 850 pairs of eyeglasses ready to help make a difference!

It was a great night of friendship, community, and service, exactly what being a Lion is all about.

We Serve! 🦁
