🌅 Lace up for a great cause at the Dan Gibbons Twilight Trot! 🏃‍♀️✨

Join the community for an evening 5K fun run/walk through Elmhurst — and help make a real difference for local families in need. ❤️

We’re especially excited that proceeds from this event will benefit United Community Concerns Association (UCCA), helping provide food and support to families right here in District 205.

Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, every step helps fight hunger in our community. Grab your friends, enjoy a beautiful twilight run, and support an amazing cause all at once!

UCCA has picked Bryan Middle School teacher, Heather Bolur, as our UCCA Mary Jo Corbett Spirit of Volunteerism Award winner as a Friend of UCCA. This award, named after a current member, former social worker for D205 and also founding member of our organization, is presented each year to dedicated UCCA volunteers who contribute untold hours and efforts toward UCCA’s mission of fighting hunger among Elmhurst School District 205 students and their families. They support UCCA through their caring actions, above and beyond what would be normally expected, helping to strengthen UCCCA’s mission in our community. Although each D205 school participates in our Holiday Food Drive, Bryan Middle School, with Heather leading the food drive, always collects an enormous amount of food, which is outstanding (and a model we wish we could replicate in other buildings). Congratulations, Heather! Well deserved
