Over the weekend, veteran and current law enforcement officer Leslie West and her finance Jeremy, who is also a law enforcement officer, joined B4 Outdoors Outreach Team member Parker La Rue for 2 nights of bowfishing in Arkansas. The pair were able to spend 2 nights sticking fish and 2 days sightseeing in Hot Springs. A special thanks to Parker and Caleb Broeker for volunteering their time and equipment which allowed us the opportunity to continue to "serve those who serve us."

Last week we entered our organization into a giveaway for a Alabama hog hunt with the Camo Preacher in hopes we could take some veterans and 1st responders down there for a hero hunt however the landowner surprised us with an opportunity to come down and hunt on our own. After a quick search for 2 deserving heroes, we are excited to be taking veteran Eddie Castillo and current law enforcement officer Kendall Shoemaker down to Wetumpka, Alabama for a 2-night hog hunt the weekend of June 12-14.

Eddie, who resides in eastern North Carolina and served in the Marine Corps as an intelligence specialist, is recently new to hunting and will be getting to experience his first-ever hog hunt.

Kendall, a current law enforcement officer in Tennessee who has been with his current department for the last 7 years, is a field training officer with the patrol unit and a member of the hostage negotiation team.

Both Eddie and Kendall will be joining B4 board members Kevin Rhodes and Dayne Foote on this hunt.

A special thank you to the Camo Preacher for opening up his home and farm to us and allowing us to continue to "serve those who serve us."
