Every day, people across the globe stand in the valley of decision, where their choices—what they believe, whom they follow, and how they act—shape not only their immediate future but their eternal destiny and lasting legacy. Joel 3:14 declares, “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision,” while verse 12 identifies this place as the Valley of Jehoshaphat, the very arena where God will judge the nations and every individual before Him. No one escapes this final reckoning. The controversies raging today—whether in global conflicts, moral battles, or personal convictions—directly test the alignment of our hearts. To choose the Lord, to stand with His truth amid the turmoil, is to secure His blessing and eternal reward; to turn away is to face the weight of judgment in that unavoidable day.

Those who bless will be blessed, those who curse will be cursed. A sword will strike the country to separate the righteous from the unrighteous. The people of Israel are a people set apart from the nations. Those of spiritual Israel shall arise and live in peace. Those who bless whom the Lord blesses will on that day will live in peace. In the valley of conflict, it will be decided!

Numbers 24:9
The nation is like a mighty lion;
When it is sleeping, no one dares wake it.
Whoever blesses Israel will be blessed,
And whoever curses Israel will be cursed.”

On February 28, 2026, Israel and the United States launched a major coordinated strike against Iran under Israel’s Operation Roaring Lion and the U.S.’s Operation Epic Fury. The operation, days before Purim (March 2–3, 2026)—commemorating deliverance from ancient Persia—has fueled speculation linking it to Ezekiel 36–39, especially chapter 38. Ezekiel depicts a restored, prosperous Israel facing invasion by a coalition including Persia (Iran) under Gog of Magog, with surrounding nations hostile and disapproving; God intervenes to destroy the attackers. Some see parallels in Israel’s preemptive action amid international criticism or silence potentially foreshadowing end-times tensions, though the prophecy frames Israel as defender, not aggressor. Such comparisons related to Ezekiel chapters 38-39 are pure speculation and in no way indicate literal fulfilment.

In life there are frustrations caused by people and situations that we cannot control. Since this is the reality of life and relationships, we can make adjustments in our responses. When we are experiencing a high level of frustration that doesn't "go away", what should we do? There is an answer. Go to Jesus, He has what we need.

In Matthew chapter 11 starting at verse 28 He says:
"Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me,
for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For My yoke [is] easy and My burden is light."

Here he is inviting us to enter into a partnership to live out life "yoked" with Him.
The burden causing frustration is laid before Him.
Jesus comes along side to help us deal with whatever situations and things that are outside of our control.
He says, "learn from me". This points to two things. First, inner brokenness, hurts and hindrances that need to be healed and released.
Second, the Lord will redirect us from our ways of dealing with life toward what Psalm 139:24 describes as the "way everlasting".
This has everything to do with learning to live according to the "ways of the Lord" that overcome the fear and frustration of not being in control.
The Lord's promise is - we can trust Him; he will not condemn but lead us into personal freedom and peace of mind.
There is a "before" and "after" testimony. Now, I can experience the same previous situations with peace of mind and respond with proper responses!

Today the United States is entering into a time of change and new opportunity. What about you and your potential impact to advance the Kingdom of God? Through faith each of us has been blessed with gifted abilities to make a difference in our world. In the Book of Esther we see that the Lord had placed her in a position as Queen of the Empire of Persia to potentially save her people. In the moment when action was needed her uncle challenged her with these words: "Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" And she immediately took action. Look around you to your associates and friends. As was Esther, don't be silent. Pray for courage, seek the Holy Spirit's guidance and determine not to be silent as a witness for the Lord. There are those close to you who need words of encouragement and faith. With your heart and eyes open you will see "kingdom" opportunities that you didn't see before!

Blessing the Lord, in spirit and truth, daily, leads to personal health and inner renewal! "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies; who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. This is what Eagle Wings type ministry is all about, encouraging others to an "uplifting" in their inner person to bless, not only the Lord, but also encouraging those who need healing or renewal.

"The cat is out of the bag"! With the Hamas attack on Israel it is clear that they, and other resistant organizations, do not want a "Two State" division of the land. The goal is the elimination of Israel as a nation. This attack is NOT an indication that the end times have started. It is a recurring event described in Psalm 83. What is particularly alarming is that many college age students are saying that the slaughter of innocent civilians was justified. See my comments by clicking the eagle:

A word for the year as we enter 2022 – Looking past present difficulties to the bright future that God has for the followers of Jesus.
Micah 4:1 reminds us “It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and it shall be lifted up above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it.”
This is happening now, as it has since Acts chapter 2. The house of the Lord is the universal institution of the church with Jesus as head. Mountains speak of authorities. The highest is the kingdom of God that is based on His Word. As believers/followers of Jesus we are “flowing thru time” to it. This is the mind set and perspective for 2022 and beyond.

There is neither Jew or Greek, (meaning people of all races and ethnic backgrounds), there is neither slave nor free person, there is neither male or female person, for you all (of this great diversity of people) are one (when united through faith) in Jesus Christ. Galatians 3:28. This ... God's solution for the disharmony of the people in the world.

John 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another.

Note that the “asking” is to do the “fruit bearing”. How often are our prayers to be “fruitful” vs getting needs met?

Learning to Walk in our Own Healing
As Christians we have the privilege to rely on the Lord for physical healing. This is an area where we should/must apply wisdom, understanding and knowledge from the Lord. We start with knowledge, two Scriptures are key: Isaiah 53: 5 and Matthew 8:17. Also, note Matthew 8:7 And he (Jesus) said to him, “I will come and heal him.”

No matter how others may want to interpret the Isaiah passage, Matthew confirms that Jesus’ suffering on the cross included God’s grace and provision for our physical healing. The text reads: Mt 8:17 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.” This is the Lord’s explanation concerning His will to heal physical infirmities and diseases. Also, Isaiah 53:5 “He was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and by his stripes (wounds) we are healed”.

The first step in “walking in healing” is to acknowledge that Jesus both suffered (paid the price) for our healing and releases God’s grace to actually heal us. The second step is the understanding part – to firmly believe that the Lord “is my healer” and announce that as fact, acting on what we now understand and know.

This brings us to the wisdom part. Wisdom is “applying the healing” regardless of “what if” thoughts. We learn to leave the results to the Lord. Whether for myself or others, I continue to pray for continued healing. The Lord gives us authority to rebuke infirmities and sickness and bring His peace. We also release healing virtue through prayer. We pray thus for ourselves and others. We do not stand in presumption concerning how or when the Lord heals. We continue in the knowledge and understanding that the Lord is our and their healer.

Here is how I have learned to “walk in healing”. I have combined Matthew 8:17 and Isaiah 8:5. “He Himself bore my infirmities and diseases, and by His stripes I am healed!” These are the words by which I walk through life. When I feel a pain, I pray this prayer and keep trusting. After being healed (you just know it when the Lord heals you) I praise Him! If that “pain” starts to come back I rebuke it. And again, keep on walking saying, “He Himself bore my infirmities and diseases and by His stripes I am healed!”. Obviously, there are other aspects of healing and using wisdom, but this “stance” is primary. I love Mt 8:7, Jesus says “I will come and heal.”

Ezekiel 11:16 Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: Though I removed them far off among the nations, and though I scattered them among the countries, yet I have been a sanctuary to them for a while in the countries where they have gone.’

As we consider this verse written long ago concerning the exile of Israel and its being scattered among the nations, we find there is up to date application in our lives, especially during this pandemic that has disrupted our lives. The key phrase is: “yet I have been a sanctuary” that each of us must apply as followers of Jesus.

We are tempted to consider our local “church” fellowship, or assembly, as our place of worship, and therefore, to think of it as our sanctuary. Although we are called to meet and worship together, however, that is not the full reality. The Lord Himself “is our sanctuary”.

As Christians, we are “scattered” among the nations, and in that sense, we are in exile, but “not under cover”. Our belief and fellowship are not a secret, we do not belong to a secret society. We are called to both live by and pronounce our faith and reliance in the Lord, not only as Savior, but also as our personal sanctuary. Each of us needs, no, actually requires, the awareness that the Lord is our sanctuary, where we quiet our anxieties and experience His renewing and empowering resolve and confidence.

Please note the phrase, “for a while”. The situation we are in now, is just, “for a while”. Our goal is not more wealth, prosperity or other temporal things, we are looking toward that promised ultimate sanctuary. Now, as in the future, He IS our sanctuary.
