Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary

GOOD NEWS: Temps in the 70s and 80s this week allowed our tortoises to graze grass for several days🙂

BAD NEWS: Temps projected in the 30s and 40s for this Saturday morning caused us to cancel our outdoor reptile event at Weaver’s Orchard in Morgantown 10/17 ☹️

The health of our critters is always our first priority. View our other upcoming events at ForgottenFriend.org/events or contact us to schedule reptiles for your own schools, churches, and family events. Thanks for giving reptiles a chance!

Just found out our insurance is being increased by nearly 50% this year! 😩 We have never missed a payment or filed a claim, and yet our rate is going sky-high. Can anyone recommend affordable insurance for animal rescues with educational programs?

In related news, November 20 is the Extra Give fundraiser. We are looking for donors to help us create a matching fund that day. In other words, you agree to match the first X number of dollars that we raise during that 24 hours. It’s a great way to multiply your donation by encouraging others to give!

Please contact us if you’re interested in being a matching donor November 20, or if you can recommend good insurance options for animal rescues in Pennsylvania. Thanks for giving reptiles a chance 😊

So thankful for all the libraries that partner with us each year, and all the families that give reptiles a chance! This was our first time at Ross Library in Lock Haven, and it was awesome! Then we got to visit Renovo Library (for the second time) on the same trip! We are feeling blessed by so many great event partners.
