Wheeling Housing Authority (WHA) is a public agency chartered by the State of West Virginia, funded in part through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide subsidized housing for eligible citizens of Ohio County. While everyone is encouraged to post/comment, our priority is to create a respectful space. Comments or posts that do not follow this policy will be remov

Nikki and Carol organized a Memorial Day cookout for some tenants. We had a great turnout, with approximately 30 tenants attending and socializing together. Everyone appeared to enjoy themselves, and the event was very successful.

Martin and Don handled the grilling, while Carol and Nikki coordinated and set up the event. Overall, it was a very enjoyable gathering for the residents and a positive community event.

Affordable housing starts with a completed application.

Wheeling Housing Authority offers rent based on 30 percent of your adjusted income or a flat rent option. Eligibility includes being 18 or older and meeting income limits. Apply now while the waiting lists are open. Keep your contact info updated by calling 304-242-4447 ext. 1000.
