It really did feel like Christmas too when our Warehouse Manager brought ya'll's boxes over!!! The volunteer and I were so excited to unpack all the wonderful goodies. The Girl Scout cookies are loved by everyone and the guys and gals really did enjoy them. we gave a box to the airmen who work in the building and they were sooo happy too. They went fast!! The drink mix was SO perfect! too as we don't get that from our supply and people love them. Truly, every single item was just what the guys and gals love and were all so very, very much appreciated. It was like Christmas here as we unboxed the boxes.

What a WONDERFUL organization you work for Bonnie. Please let everyone know how very, very much we appreciated all of the awesome goodies you all sent. It truly was so awesome to get ya'll's goodies. You all really brought so many smiles to the guys and gals. Thank you for offering to send other goodies...sooo appreciate that. I will get a list for you of items like you said. That would be wonderful.

Please let everyone know how we so appreciate them thinking of us and I know the troops and others here truly enjoyed the awesome items you all sent to us.

Please Help Save Christmas For Our Deployed Troops!

The Yellow Ribbon Girls and their faithful group of volunteers and supporters have been able to ship monthly care packages and BIG boxes of Christmas treasures around the world to our deployed troops for almost 20 years. This year we have been blessed with fundraisers/donations that have kept the care packages filled and shipping. As we near Soldier Christmas 2022 we again are in need of your help to cover the postage on the BIG Christmas care packages.

IT IS TRUE
The Yellow Ribbon Girls are retiring in February 2023. At that time we will have reached 20 years of monthly care packages created and shipped. We are SO thankful for everyone in our circle of support.

WE NEED YOUR HELP.
2021 was our BIGGEST Christmas ever - 330 Extra Large care packages were created and shipped. The postage on last year’s Christmas care packages was over $14,000.00. Again this year each box will be full of Christmas decorations, holiday treats, basic supplies and gifts. The approximate postage for each package will be $50.00. Can 2022 be BIGGER? That is up to you.

PLEASE ADOPT A DEPLOYED SOLDIER FOR CHRISTMAS
The same product availability/shortages that affects us here in the states is magnified for the troops. They are living in temperatures up to 120 degrees, and many USOs are still operating on limited schedules. Our deployed troops NEED to know they are NOT being forgotten back here at home.

CAN YOUR CHURCH, BUSINESS, CLUB OR WORKPLACE ADOPT A SOLDIER OR TWO?
Please share this message far and wide. The Yellow Ribbon Girls will create and ship the BIG boxes of Christmas treasures in early November. The sooner we know how many of our soldiers are adopted, the sooner we can plan collections for the items to fill their stockings and provide them with basic supplies.

To learn more about the Yellow Ribbon Girls, the supplies needed on a monthly basis and how you can support the troops throughout the year, visit our website at: www.yellowribbongirls.com or locate us on Facebook, at: yellowribbongirls.yrg

Please complete the form below and mail it with your check of $50.00 for each adopted care package to:

We have received many care packages from your organization and I
want to thank you for your support and thoughtfulness. Freedom is Not Free
but thankfully we live in a nation where people still volunteer to protect
it. I want to thank you for things you and your group are doing to support
us in this effort. In these times support like you are providing is not as
common as it once was. Not just the packages but also the hand written notes
mean a lot to our soldiers who are over here away from their families and
loved ones. We appreciate all that you do. May God Bless America and May God
Bless your organization.

Very respectfully

The letter below is from the mom of one of our young female soldiers. If this message motivates you to donate, we will send the items her way

Hi, my name is Laura and my daughter is a sergeant in the US Army! She is 23 years old and this is her first deployment. She received a wonderful care package from your organization today. She was thrilled and is so grateful. The letters included were so special!
There was a letter from a North Allegheny high school student. Ironically, I graduated from NA! So that letter was extra special!
This care package not only made Brooke feel good but also our entire family!
Thank you very much! You have no idea how much I appreciate your organization doing this for my daughter!
