🇺🇲 We Will Never Forget 🇺🇲
Yesterday the Ellsworth Volunteer Fire Dept participated in our 5th Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in honor of the 343 FDNY Firefighters who heroically gave their lives in the tragic events on 9/11/2001. Firefighters climbed 2,200 steps to represent the 110 stories of the World Trade Center, symbolically completing their final call to save the lives of others. We would like to thank the VFW Post 6485 Ellsworth, Kansas and VFW Auxiliary 6485 for helping us commemorate the event at the memorial service.
