Monday afternoon there is an Enhanced risk (level 3 of 5) to Moderate risk (level 4 of 5) for severe thunderstorms for areas along and east of I-29. Thunderstorms capable of producing hail 2+ inches, damaging wind gusts, and tornadoes are expected to form between approximately 3pm and 8pm. Areas to the west may also see strong to severe thunderstorms, however storm chances there will be highly dependent on the timing of the frontal passage.
