Cordelia “Cordie” Stanwood was talented in many ways. Most people remember her for studying and photographing nestlings. However, in 1906, she also wrote about how the “old folks” dyed fabrics using plants. To learn more about Cordie, take a tour Tuesday through Friday between 11 and 3.

Our first event of the year will be a bird walk on the trails of Birdsacre. This will be happening before our gates open, so please enter through our driveway just before China Hill. Don't forget your binoculars ...and bug repellent!

New and experienced birdwatchers are invited to join us for a walk to look and listen for our summer winged visitors. Bring your binoculars (and bug nets and/or repellent) and explore Birdsacre’s wooded trails. The Nature Discovery Center and sanctuary grounds will be open following the walk. Ple
