Just before New Year’s Day, Brandi—a devoted mother, neighbor, and friend—was unexpectedly diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). She was immediately transferred to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where she spent 36 days undergoing the first stages of diagnosis and chemotherapy.
Since then, Brandi has faced numerous weekly appointments and extended stays in Brunswick and Portland. As she continues to build strength, she remains in active treatment, undergoing additional procedures to prepare for a critical step in her journey—a stem cell transplant.
On April 8, 2025, Brandi will travel to Boston to begin this next phase at Massachusetts General Hospital. She will undergo radiation and chemotherapy leading up to her transplant, followed by an eight-week stay—four weeks in the hospital and four weeks nearby for continued care and daily medical monitoring. This extended stay will bring significant financial challenges, including travel, lodging, and medical expenses.
Brandi is a fierce fighter, deeply cherished by her family and friends. This benefit dinner aims to ease the financial burden on her and her family as they focus on her recovery. Your support will make a meaningful difference in their journey.
