Believers can live without fear, anxiety, worry, and stress, by knowing and trusting that God is enough.

Why is waiting such an important part of spirituality? Because waiting is where faith actually becomes necessary. A God of immediate gratification requires no faith. It’s in the waiting and the silence where faith actually develops.

The presence of silence… never equals the absence of God.

Psalm 40:1-4 (NLT)

1 I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. 2 He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. 3 He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD. 4 Oh, the joys of those who trust the LORD, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols.

When waiting for God’s timing, it’s important to put your trust in God and wait in hope because God has proven His love and His faithfulness over and over and over again.

The world has a lot of contempt for believers. So, the question is: how should they respond? They should “keep looking for the LORD,” who will provide His mercy to them.

God’s presence used to only dwell in the temple. But today, His presence dwells in His Church and it’s a place where believers can experience security, hope, encouragement, and worship.
